Plan de Corones/Kronplatz: A real-life winter fairy tale
Active fun for everyone
The Plan de Corones/Kronplatz is not only a paradise for skiers in winter. If you decide to spend your holiday at our Alpinhotel Keil you will not only enjoy skiing, but also a wide range of winter fun.
- Cross-country skiing
Are you ready to ski through a magical winter landscape in the bright winter sun? 300 kilometres of perfectly groomed cross-country trails and the World Cup Biathlon Arena in Valle Anterselva/Antholzer Tal (where the 2026 Winter Olympics will take place) are waiting for you! The Dobbiaco/Toblach cross-country skiing centre is very close to our hotel in Valdaora/Olang, can be reached by public transport, and is famous for the Tour de Ski. With 42 kilometres of sunny cross-country skiing trails, Val Casies/Gsieser Tal is also highly recommended.
- Ski touring
Looking for an adrenaline kick on fresh powder snow? Val Casies/Gsieser Tal, the high Alpine pastures of Fanes and Sennes, Valle Anterselva/Antholz Tal, and the surroundings of San Vigilio di Marebbe/St. Vigil in Enneberg offer the best conditions for ski tourers.
- Snowshoeing
Walking through untouched snowy landscapes far away from the hustle and bustle – this dream becomes reality while snowshoeing.
- Tobogganing
The Brunst toboggan run from the Malga Brusada/Brunst Alm mountain hut to Valdaora/Olang brings children’s dreams to life for seven kilometres. Numerous Alpine huts in Val Pusteria/Pustertal and its side valleys offer the possibility to combine a leisurely hike with a toboggan ride. Our tip for a particularly special experience: night tobogganing on the floodlit slopes.
