Our hotel in the heart of the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz ski area is ideal for athletes, active people, families, and anyone looking for a hotel in Valdaora/Olang at the slopes. In addition, not only the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz ski area awaits you near our hotel, but also the Alta Badia ski area (with the legendary Gran Risa), the Drei Zinnen ski area, the Speikboden ski area, and the Skiarena Klausberg. Pure snowy fun – guaranteed!
Just wonderful: skiing at the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz
Plan de Corones/Kronplatz is called South Tyrol’s number 1 ski mountain for good reason. With an altitude of 2,275 metres and shaped like a Bundt cake with a thick layer of white icing – it’s perfect for skiing! Very close to our hotel, the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz ski area, with its 119 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes and 32 modern lifts, is a pure delight. But also, for other winter activities, there is plenty of opportunity in the active family village Valdaora/Olang. Once you have reached the summit by gondola or lift, a breath-taking 360° view will amaze you. It stretches from the Zillertal Alps in the north to the Dolomites in the south. The slopes with all levels of difficulty lead down into the valley in a star shape. Skiing at Plan de Corones/Kronplatz is made even more enjoyable by another fact: the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz ski area is part of Dolomiti Superski, the largest ski association in the world. With just one ski pass, you have 1,200 kilometres of slopes available to you right at your feet – literally.

Alta Badia ski resort and 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski region
The ski resorts Alta Badia in Val Badia/Gadertal and 3 Zinnen Dolomites in Alta Pusteria/Hochpustertal are easily accessible from our hotel in the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz ski area. 130 kilometres of slopes, the First World War ski tour, and the popular Sellaronda (circumnavigation of the Sella massif on skis) – this is how the Alta Badia ski resort impresses. With more than 110 kilometres of perfectly maintained slopes and many other highlights, the 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski area is a great choice. Both make sure that your winter holiday in Val Pusteria/Pustertal has plenty of variety!

Skiing at Plan de Corones/Kronplatz & in the Speikboden ski resort
Our hotel is located at the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz ski area – but did you know that the small, versatile Speikboden skiing area is also not far? With over 38 kilometres of perfectly maintained slopes and seven modern lifts, it is one of the smaller resorts but guarantees great skiing fun. We recommend the 700-metre-long Fun Park with the Easy Line and Medium Line.
Family fun: skiing at the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz and Klausberg
A little further away from our hotel at the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz ski resort, but still easily accessible by car, is the family-friendly Skiarena Klausberg. This ski area offers 33 kilometres of slopes with guaranteed snow, where beginners, families, and experienced skiers will feel at home.
One thing is certain: at our accommodation with ski pass service, you will already have the ski pass for the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz ski area and Dolomiti Superski in your hands at the reception. And then it’s time for skiing at Plan de Corones/Kronplatz!
