Nature parks at the Alpinhotel: All good things come in threes!
A glance at the map confirms it: the Alpinhotel Keil is strategically located between three nature parks. All offer very panoramic and well-marked paths for a varied hiking holiday in the Dolomites.
- Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park
Impressive peaks and rugged rock walls, extensive Alpine pastures and plateaus, the heart of which are the Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese and the Fanes and Sennes Alpine pastures. The Lake Braies/Pragser Wildsee and the Lake Tobaccio/Toblach, not far from the Alpinhotel Keil, are particularly worth seeing.
- Puez-Geisler Nature Park
A little further away from our hotel in Valdaora/Olang than the other two nature parks, but still easily accessible, lies this nature park with majestic Dolomite peaks and lovely Alpine meadows.
- Ries-Aurina/Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park
Roaring waterfalls like the famous Cascate di Riva/Reinbachfälle, peaceful lakes like Lake Anterselva/Antholz, and large glaciers characterise the mountain landscape of this park north of the Alpinhotel Keil.
